Favorite Jam Pairing: Rhubarb Lemon Verbena Jam
1 package frozen puff pastry, thawed using package instructions
1 9.5 oz jar of your favorite Modern Provisions Jam
Preheat oven to 400°F and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
Thaw the puff pastry and remove any paper that came in the package. Use a rolling pin to thin each piece of puff pastry to roughly 10”x16”.
Spread the jam evenly over one sheet of puff pastry. Layer the second piece over it and gently press together.
Cut the puff pastry in half horizontally, then cut into vertical strips to create 24 pieces. Gently twist each piece and place on two baking sheets. Mix the egg with 1 teaspoon water and brush lightly over each piece.
Bake for 20 minutes or until puffed and golden, rotating the baking sheets after 10 minutes.
Cool and enjoy.
